At Monteverde Emeralds, we source high quality emeralds from the famous mining areas of Muzo and Chivor. With experience of over 25 years in the business, we have a network of trusted suppliers in Colombia. We work with established traditional operators and we also source from less well-known mining partners, thereby supporting small-scale and artisanal mining - which in turn provides an income to the local communities. Our emeralds are cut and polished in Bogotá, a global centre of excellence and expertise in emerald cutting.
